Starting pitcher Turgash Halflingslobbr gave the Erebor Eagles a rock-solid effort. The Nurn, Unknown Lands native helped his team defeat the Bree Cheese, 3-2, at The Eyrie. The winner in relief was Lennier Sandyman. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. He now owns a record of 5-5. Gavin Hardbottle converted his 44th save in 49 tries.

Erebor took a 3-2 lead on Fildaerae MacCooey's 3rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which MacCooey hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Bree pitcher Tomburän Stonemould visibly frustrated.

"I felt good up there," said MacCooey. "I saw the ball well."

Erebor is now 86-70. Bree is 74-82.
