Eagles Pull Out Late-Game Win, 9-8
The Erebor Eagles overcame a good performance by Bree second baseman Karsten Demoncooties to knock off Bree, 9-8, in 10 innings at The Eyrie. Demoncooties was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Erebor has won 3 straight, while Bree has lost 4 in a row.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Erebor center fielder Cedivar Pennypacker, facing Tomburän Stonemould, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Eagles the 9-8 win.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Pennypacker said.
