The Bree Cheese and Mirkwood Sylvan delighted fans at Woodland Field.

Sylvan third baseman Ulgob Sediles left his imprint on his team's 6-4 win over the Bree Cheese. Sediles went 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for Mirkwood in the contest. Mirkwood reliever Aldagrim Rougecheeks got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Marçal Ivatt was tagged with the loss. Alaric Bramblebush collected his 4th save.

Ushnug Throatscarer chipped in a 2-run home run for Mirkwood in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the catcher had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.

Mirkwood manager Tavmina Eemli was pleased with the team's effort. "It was just a good, gutsy performance by everybody," he said.

So far, the 2052 season has been disappointing for Bree, now 10-16.
