Bywater Bounders starter Briblag the Mangler turned in an exceptional performance against the Bree Cheese at Bree-Land Ballpark, resulting in a Bywater win, 5-2. The loss puts Bree at 13-14.

Carmen Sillybottom had a big run-scoring double for the Bounders in the top of the second inning. With Bywater leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from Marçal Ivatt, who finished 5th in the SC in strikeouts with 203 in 2049, and swatted a double to left. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bounders ahead, 2-0.

"Nice win for us," said Sillybottom. "Now we'll go after the next one."
