Zurthug the Masher was a vital contributor to the 4-3 Minas Ithil victory over Carrock. The Wyrms designated hitter went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Minas Ithil reliever Özcan Muer picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Haruki Shaban was saddled with the loss. At 17-10, the Wyrms have played well so far.

Had Mubkog Auriol not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Auriol hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Wyrms.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Carrock manager Tigia Eladriendel. "The effort was great."
