Wisebattler Smacks 3 Homers in 8-1 Archers Win
|
A 8-RBI performance from right fielder Asecana Wisebattler, who is tied for 4th in the SC in total bases with 67, led the Lake Town Archers to a win over the Old Forest Merry Fellows, 8-1. The loss puts Old Forest at 15-13.
With Lake Town leading 4-0 in the top of the eighth, Wisebattler came up to bat against Old Forest pitcher Eddo Mogan. Wisebattler hit a curveball to right for a grand slam home run. His 9th home run of the season put the Archers on top, 8-0.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Wisebattler.
