The Bywater Bounders topped the Minas Tirith Titans, 5-3, in Shire Conference action at The Water Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Bywater pitcher Gonus Guttrisson. Getting the save was Dejaria Elivande, his 8th. Minas Tirith is now 13-17.

One of the clutch hits for Bywater came from one of their biggest talents. In the bottom of the seventh with two out, Ferdinand *Puttifoot, who finished 2nd in the SC in on-base percentage with .471 in 2045, hit a 2-run single to put the Bounders up, 5-2. For the game, the third baseman went 1-3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI.

"I was trying to do what I do, go out there and compete," said Guttrisson.
