Fairies Run Win Streak to 6
The Bucklebury Fairies knocked off the Old Forest Merry Fellows, 3-2, in Shire Conference action at The Fairie Dome. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 2, walking 4, and allowing 2 runs. Picking up the save was 23-year old right-handed pitcher Smubguk Toothchewer.

Krurpug Gnomechewer, who is tied for 9th in the SC in triples with 1, aided the Bucklebury cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman drove in one run.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Old Forest manager Tom Bombadil.

The last-place Fairies have won 6 straight.
