Old Forest right-hander Junnosuke Koen helped his team edge Bree by the score of 2-1. Koen kept the opposing lineup in check. Old Forest pitcher Betsie Gamwich got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Trubgug Toepunisher got the loss. The win lifted the Old Forest record to 21-16.

The Merry Fellows were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 27-year old shortstop Filvendor Soame landed a big blow. He turned a 2-2 changeup from Trubgug Toepunisher into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the Shire Greens Stadium denizens into a frenzy and sent the Merry Fellows home with a thrilling 2-1 win.

"Junnosuke attacked hitters and trusted his stuff," said Old Forest manager Borigal Bridger.
