The Old Forest Merry Fellows picked up a win at Royals Stadium, dropping the Rivendell Royals, 6-4. Junnosuke Koen, who leads the SC in innings pitched with 56.1, was the difference-maker. Reliever Tusdar Aelorothi picked up the win. His record improves to 1-5. Drurdag Suold took the loss. Picking up the save was 30-year old right-handed pitcher Yosai Graber.

Axidares Kadiri came through with a big-time hit for Old Forest. The catcher smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Koen. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."

Old Forest leads the Shire Conference Elf Division by 4½ games.
