The Bree Cheese faced a tough opponent in Minas Ithil pitcher Todo Gilmore, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Silmarillion Cellular Field by a final score of 4-2 in 12 innings. Gilmore went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. By defeating Minas Ithil, the second-place Cheese improved to 24-24.

Amaranthae Ithruen had a direct impact on the outcome. Ithruen contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 12th inning to put Bree up, 3-2.

Ithruen called the win a testament to his team's "grit."
