Slayers Squelch Stars Offense in Shutout Win
In a tight tilt between the Minas Morgul Slayers and the Grey Havens Stars, Vaervenshalice Thornravenys was the deciding factor. The Minas Morgul right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. Thornravenys yielded no runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 3-3. The Stars, now 21-28, have lost 4 straight.

Minas Morgul used a clutch at-bat from Gamaimer Eladriendil to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Slayers ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
