|
Bree Cheese starter Tomburän Stonemould pitched well against the Minas Ithil Wyrms at Silmarillion Cellular Field, leading his team to a win, 4-3. Stonemould picked up the win for Bree, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 4-2. Picking up the save was Trubgug Toepunisher, his 9th.
Bree used the timely hitting of Jedrik Zacagnini to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Cheese on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Zacagnini.
