Despite the rain, the fans at The Eyrie enjoyed a good ballgame.

Erebor starter Brobhosh Fouldeath put the Minas Ithil offense in a vise grip. The right-hander relied heavily on his curveball in leading the Eagles to a 3-0 win. Kristy Titsworth earned save number 1 this season.

Guruvayur Livertrembler had a big run-scoring double for the Eagles in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Erebor leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a cutter from Athanaric Eavesdropper, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2049 draft, and swatted a double to right. It was his 12th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Eagles ahead, 2-0.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Erebor manager Lumja Grelf.

After today's action, Erebor sits at 29-22; Minas Ithil slips to 29-23.
