8-1 Cheese Win over Eagles Evens Season Record
Starting pitcher Marçal Ivatt was a major factor in the 8-1 Bree Cheese triumph over the Erebor Eagles. With the victory, the Cheese upped their record to 26-26.

Sigifrid de Lijser had a big 2-run home run for the Cheese in the bottom of the second inning. With Bree leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a cutter from Ragnar Kirchhoff, who is tied for 9th in the SC in strikeouts with 66, and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Cheese on top, 3-0.

"I made good pitches, kept the ball out of the middle of the plate for the most part," said Ivatt.
