The Witch Kings grabbed a win, 8-3, at Sylvan Cove, overcoming a fine effort from Minas Morgul pitcher Mablung Melwasul. Melwasul went 6.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. The Witch Kings now have a record of 24-27 with the win over Minas Morgul.

The Slayers had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Witch Kings going into the top of the eighth inning. That changed quickly when the 29-year old right fielder Orgug the Atrocious came to the plate. the Atrocious hit a 2-run double on a full count curveball from Minas Morgul hurler Rolbag Badgermangler. It was the Atrocious's 3rd double of the year.

"I really like what we did out there today," the Atrocious said after the game.
