Vigo Eavesdropper powered the Intergalactic Hitchhikers to a win over the Serenity Valley Fireflies. The final score was 5-2. The Intergalactic second baseman, who is tied for 5th in the SL with a .550 slugging percentage, was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Intergalactic reliever Nora Sandybanks got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Ibgush Goblinhead was tagged with the loss. The Hitchhikers, now 15-6, have played some good baseball in the early going.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Eavesdropper hit a curveball from Ibgush Goblinhead for a 3-run home run. The Hitchhikers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Eavesdropper told the Intergalactic Today.
