It might have been a rain-shorted game, but the hometown crowd didn't seem to mind.

The Intergalactic Hitchhikers got a marvelous performance from pitcher Prospero Bauwyn. The right-hander kept the Dyson offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 4-1 Intergalactic victory at Megadodos Ballpark. Bauwyn, who is tied for 2nd in the SL in complete games with 1, went the distance for Intergalactic. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits.

In the bottom of the fourth inning of a 1-1 tie, Intergalactic second baseman Vigo Eavesdropper reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. It broke the deadlock and put Intergalactic on top, 2-1.

"I do my best to contribute," said Eavesdropper.

The Hitchhikers raised their record to 23-14.
