Crashlanders Tuck Away 9-7 Win Over Gallifrey
The WeMadeIt Crashlanders defeated the Gallifrey Time Lords, 9-7, in part because of first baseman Merry Gardener. Gardener went 2-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Crashlanders. Denema Legariand, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-1. He allowed 1 run on no hits in 2.2 innings. Keishara Raryndur earned the save for WeMadeIt, his 7th of the year.

In the top of the sixth, the Crashlanders grabbed the lead when Gardener hit his 12th double of the season. The 2-run double off Byung-hee Sandeep made it 8-6, WeMadeIt.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Gardener.

With the win, the Crashlanders hiked their record to 26-16.
