Star Fleet Academy starter Smuzbub the Tough put the Gallifrey offense in a vise grip. The right-hander relied heavily on his fastball in leading the Cadets to a 5-1 win. the Tough, now 4-6, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. The 4th-place Time Lords dropped to 26-38.

The Cadets got a big at-bat from designated hitter Dimitrie Bengtsson. For the game, Bengtsson was 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Star Fleet Academy a 3-1 lead.
