Erebor pitcher Turgash Halflingslobbr had a large part in his team subduing the Bywater Bounders, 8-1. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. The Eagles bumped their record to 37-28 with this win.

Erebor left fielder Largo the Dapper contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 37th hit of the season and put the Eagles ahead, 3-0.

"That was a really good outing by Turgash," said Erebor manager Lumja Grelf.
