Hitchhikers Fall Short, 4-3, at Star Fleet Academy
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Star Fleet Academy Cadets and Intergalactic Hitchhikers.

The Intergalactic Hitchhikers got a superb performance from pitcher Manuchar Earthlover, but the Star Fleet Academy Cadets still won the game, 4-3. Earthlover threw 5.1 innings allowing 2 runs. Efe Coalfist earned the save for Star Fleet Academy, his 18th.

Cystenn Belol went 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Star Fleet Academy. The 26-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Hughbub Tibolt. It was his 51st RBI of the season.

"We put together a nice win," Belol said.

The Cadets, at 44-51, inhabit last place in the SciFi League Division 2.
