Fireflies Get Clutch Win Versus Gallifrey
The rain could not keep the home crowd from enjoying a good ballgame.

The Serenity Valley Fireflies beat the Gallifrey Time Lords, 4-3. Serenity Valley pitcher and Rhun, Unknown Lands, native Rudolph Ploughman led the way. Mihangyl Dridersmasher, credited with the win in relief, is now 3-4. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1 innings.

Jouko Savvateev was the walk-off hero for Serenity Valley. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Fireflies pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Savvateev said.

The Fireflies have now reeled off 6 straight wins.
