Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Babylon Five Rangers and Tatooine Sandcrawlers.

The Babylon Five Rangers overcame a good performance by Tatooine catcher Sim Whitfoot to knock off Tatooine, 6-4, at Jabba the Hut Stadium. Whitfoot was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Darcassan Lomorfing earned the win for Babylon Five. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 9-4. The save went to Blubkrut Riveva, his 9th this season.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Manfried Panick? The Babylon Five right fielder had a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Rangers on top, 2-0. For the game, Panick had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Panick told the Babylon Five Citizen.
