Slayers Pick Up 4-1 Win Against Diagon Alley

The rain did not keep Karak Kadrin and Diagon Alley from finishing their game.
Surya Smiddlefidget, who is tied for 3rd in the FL in innings pitched with 31.1, never let the Wizards get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Slayers to a win, 4-1. Phaior Grimm closed it out for his 5th save.
Making an impact for the home team was Andy Terrezas. In the bottom of the fifth, the 32-year old first baseman had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 2-0, Slayers.
"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Gorbulas Brownlock.
Karak Kadrin sits in first place in the Fantasy League Division 1 at 15-11.
