The Land of Oz Munchkins could not turn a fine performance from right fielder Menegilda Grub into a win. Instead, the Karak Kadrin Slayers prevailed, 7-6, in 10 innings. Grub was 3-5 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Reluvethel Forest-seeker earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record is now 3-0. The win puts Karak Kadrin at 47-31 this season.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jai-guo Gwill in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off fireballing right-hander Akinori Naidoo to win the game for Karak Kadrin. The home crowd went nuts.

"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Goradoc Jour, the Karak Kadrin manager.
