Wizards Lose By a Run at Xanth
The Xanth Centaurs earned a close win over the Diagon Alley Wizards, thanks in part to Zurbug Armtearer. The Xanth right-hander, who is tied for 8th in the FL with a 1.02 WHIP, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Xanth reliever Araiborn Peplinski was the winner. His record is now 2-2. Soibur Fleam took the loss. Diagon Alley has now lost 4 straight.

Migel Piepoli hit a 2-run double off Soibur Fleam in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Centaurs in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Piepoli had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.

"Main thing is I want the team to win," Armtearer told a reporter after the game. "Just have to go out there, take care of my job, and give my team a chance to win."
