The Diagon Alley Wizards did just enough to sneak past the Land of Oz Munchkins, 4-3, at Ballpark of Diagon Alley. Diagon Alley pitcher Phaiar Lehtera, in particular, had a standout performance. Cobus Gheorghisor notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 1.2 innings. His record now sits at 5-2. The Munchkins, now 48-37, have lost 4 straight.

Had Hildigard Grim not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Grim hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Wizards.

"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Land of Oz manager Thura Galadur.
