Starting pitcher Bundin Nierde fulfilled his part of the bargain, helping the Neverland Lost Boys stymie the Xanth Centaurs, 8-2. Neverland now sits at 50-37, while Xanth falls to 42-45.

Early in the game, catcher Radugrin Boone had a solo home run for Neverland. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Lost Boys on top, 2-1.

"We had a nice day," said Neverland skipper Marigold Bramble.
