In the 7-3 Asgard win over Earthsea, the impact of Alessandro Ettinhater was substantial. Ettinhater, who finished 4th in the FL in on-base percentage with .373 in 2048, was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks. By defeating Earthsea, the second-place Vikings improved to 47-44.

Asgard used a clutch at-bat from Odrub Smiddlefidget to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Vikings ahead, 5-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
