Karak Kadrin Slayers starter Ithraides Alluth was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Narnia Badgers, 4-3. The 4th-place Slayers are now 42-48, the Badgers 51-39.
Laverne Silverhand dealt the Badgers a blow in the bottom of the seventh. Batting with a runner on 3rd and Karak Kadrin leading 3-0, Silverhand hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring single.
"We ground out the win," said Silverhand. "That's all that matters."
