Starting pitcher Gormadoc Grimm gave the Asgard Vikings a rock-solid effort. The Nurn, Unknown Lands native helped his team defeat the Narnia Badgers, 3-2, at Freedom Park. Obgagh Heartcutter earned the save, his 8th in 11 tries. With the victory, the Vikings upped their record to 58-51.

Gorbaduc Holgate had a big run-scoring double for the Vikings in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Asgard leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Daryl McCabe, who is tied for 7th in the FL in wins with 9, and swatted a double to left. It was his 29th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Vikings ahead, 2-0.

"Gormadoc gave us a heck of an effort," said Asgard manager Marbash Shinsnapper.
