The home crowd had a good time watching the Earthsea Dragons and Asgard Vikings get after it.

Gundabald Lang did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Earthsea Dragons from being beaten, 7-4, to the Asgard Vikings at Freedom Park. Lang went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Obgagh Heartcutter earned the save for Asgard, his 12th.

The Vikings benefited from a costly error in the bottom of the seventh. With Alessandro Ettinhater at bat and Asgard trailing 4-3, the Earthsea miscue allowed Asgard to plate 2 and take the lead, 5-4.

"It was our day today," Ettinhater told the Asgard Today. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."

The victory gives the Vikings a record of 66-53.
