Toemasher Now 9-7 After Beating Kobolds
|
In a tight contest between the Xanth Centaurs and the Forgotten Realms Kobolds, Gurg Toemasher was the determining factor. The Xanth left-hander sparkled in his team's 3-2 win. With the victory, the Centaurs upped their record to 65-61.
Toemasher was effective against the Kobolds, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The left-hander limited Forgotten Realms to just no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings.
"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Toemasher. "Successful pitchers do it."
