Maxim on Fire: 5-for-6 for Misty Mountain Tuesday, September 3rd , 2052 5 times is the charm -- at least for Thugmag Maxim. The Misty Mountain Hops center fielder tore up the Isengard Raiders to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Gap of Rohan Park. The offensive onslaught from Maxim powered the 14-3 Hops win. "Maxim was a tough out," Isengard manager L. Rhond *Hubbard said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Thugmag Maxim singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Basava the Squealer in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Basava the Squealer in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
