Misty Mountain Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Thursday, September 19th , 2052 The playoff hopes of the Misty Mountain Hops -- which were already faint at best -- are now completely extinguished. The team will miss the playoffs this year, being mathematically eliminated from contention today. Misty Mountain last appeared in the postseason in 2043. This is their 9th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 30 times in their 50-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Hops have missed the playoffs 8 times. Misty Mountain last won the Return of the King Series in 2022. |
