SC's Premier Batter Picked Tuesday, October 1st , 2052 When guys like Old Forest's Alrond *Hubbard, Jr. win Batter of the Month awards, it just makes you feel good. In a productive September, the longtime Shire Conference veteran toyed with opposing pitchers, collecting 38 hits in 101 at-bats. The veteran designated hitter hit for a .376 batting average and collected 10 home runs, 20 RBIs and 23 runs scored. Thus far this year, *Hubbard, Jr. is batting .302 with 37 home runs, 87 RBIs and 116 runs scored. |
