League Punishes Pair for Fighting Thursday, April 27th , 2051 After an intense confrontation, both the Miners Mun-cheol Chabel and the Sylvan Sarklla Moonranger were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Moria-Mirkwood game. Mun-cheol Chabel will miss 4 games, while Sarklla Moonranger was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Mun-cheol Chabel commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Posting a .213 batting average to date, Chabel has 4 home runs and 6 RBIs. For this year, Moonranger has chalked up no wins and 3 losses in 5 starts with 16 strikeouts in 20.1 innings and a 8.41 ERA. |
