Meriken Earns SC Player of the Week Monday, May 24th , 2049 It was announced today by the Shire Conference that Rivendell third baseman Camillo Meriken had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. The Rivendell third baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers, pounding them for a .526 average (10-for-19) with 3 home runs and 7 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This year Meriken has hit at a .291 clip with 46 hits, 12 home runs, 34 RBIs and 22 runs scored. |
