Toothdrinker Pounds 3 HR Friday, May 28th , 2049 Minas Ithil Wyrms left fielder Rurbash Toothdrinker had a magnificent game against the Lake Town Archers today, rocketing three balls out of Silmarillion Cellular Field to help the Wyrms take the 6-4 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Toothdrinker went 4-for-6 with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Minas Ithil manager Gomsh Elephantdicer said later. "Seems like Rurbash found his home run stroke today." Rurbash Toothdrinker grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Ndòni Duthjuth in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Amoghavajra Wisebattler in the 8th, singled in the 10th and hit a two-run home run off Arumir Tinarand in the 12th. This season Toothdrinker is batting .214 with 9 home runs. His totals include 19 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
