Setback for Kings and Hamdi Melon Monday, May 31st , 2049 Kings first baseman Hamdi Melon has suffered a setback in his rehabilitation for a knee sprain. He was expected to finish treatment soon and rejoin the team slightly ahead of schedule. Doctors reevaluated him after he felt severe pain in a recent workout. The preliminary examination revealed more damage and is worse than the first injury. Anonymous sources in Numenor told BNN Hamdi Melon would be absent from the roster quite a bit longer than originally diagnosed. He would now have to miss at least one week. So far this year Melon is batting .188 with 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 16 runs scored. |
