Bucklebury Fairies Prospect, Tomiji Eyelover, Making Waves
Thursday, March 13th , 2053
Professional ballplayers are an elite club. They represent an incredibly select brotherhood, and it's natural among such groups for new players to get a lot of grief. Unequivocal praise is a rarity from veteran teammates; it's even rarer coming from the opponents.
"I don't know what to say," observed Dead Marshes Uruk-hai player, Mentha Beastmaster, who went on to say "Tomiji Eyelover really had it going today. Not to give the guy a big head, but if he keeps playing like that, he'll write his own ticket. If he puts it all together, he could be something really special." He flashed a grin. "I just hope he's not playing against us when it happens."
