Tatooine Eliminated from Playoff Contention Sunday, August 25th , 2052 It won't be a season to remember for the Tatooine Sandcrawlers, as the club has officially missed out on the playoffs. The Sandcrawlers were mathematically eliminated from qualification today. "With any luck, in a couple years we will look back on the 2052 season as an important stepping stone to a title," said Tatooine catcher Sim Whitfoot. This is the club's 4th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2048. In total, the Sandcrawlers have missed the playoffs 13 times in their 29-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Sandcrawlers have missed the playoffs 6 times. Tatooine last won the Championship in 2047. |
