Gutiérras Slaps 5 Hits Wednesday, May 19th , 2049 Gallifrey catcher Borje Gutiérras had a fantastic day at the plate at Ballpark of Babylon Five today, knocking out 5 hits and pacing his club to a 7-1 victory. "It was like I was hitting Little League pitching," Gutiérras said after his 5-for-5 performance against the Rangers. "No offense meant to Babylon Five, but it was like I was back in little league again -- I could see the ball that well. But this wasn't a kid park, it was Ballpark of Babylon Five." After the game, his manager elaborated on the catcher's improvements, saying Gutiérras spent the offseason trying to shorten his swing and stay inside the ball. "That's what I'm trying to do," Gutiérras said. "Be quick to the ball and let it travel a little farther so I get a better look at it." Borje Gutiérras doubled in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and singled in the 9th. This year Gutiérras is hitting .429 with no home runs.
