Elrudriel Scorches Time Lords for 3 HR Sunday, May 30th , 2049 Fans are still buzzing after Star Fleet Academy whipped the Gallifrey Time Lords by the score of 10-7 today at Cadets Ballpark. Dejatina Elrudriel smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the first baseman bashed out 3 hits in 5 at-bats, had 4 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Elrudriel said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Elrudriel said. "Three is just... wow." Dejatina Elrudriel hit a solo-shot off Ichiro Gardener in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Ichiro Gardener in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, struck out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Krabgunk Nosehammer in the 8th. For the year Elrudriel has hit at a .243 clip with 21 RBIs, 8 home runs and 15 runs scored. |
