Romenna Takes Wild Card Series Wednesday, September 18th , 2052 The Romenna Lakers are heading to the Division Series, having narrowly defeated the Edoras Rail Cats. Romenna edged Edoras in the series 2-1, with a win at Ballpark of Edoras in the clinching game by a 5-4 margin. Weon McBean turned in a strong offensive performance for the Lakers and got series MVP for his efforts. "I'll never turn down another trophy for my mantle, another accomplishment to remember once my career is over," he said. "What I would really remember, though, is a Middle Earth League Championship win." It remains to be seen how the playoffs will conclude, but if McBean continues to swing a hot bat, his team will no doubt have a chance. For the series, he hit .364 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 2 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Romenna Lakers will play against the Lond Daer Warriors in the next round. Lond Daer had a bye in the Wild Card Series.
