Carrock pitcher Wonai the Squasher did his part in helping his team beat the Moria Miners, 5-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. the Squasher picked up the win for Carrock, going 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 6-5. With the win, Carrock upped its record to 72-65.
Carrock took a 5-2 lead on Carly Brockhouse's 21st home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Moria pitcher Yoshimi Lightloafer in the bottom of the seventh.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Carrock manager Marcos Easyheart.
