The Weathertop Witch Kings got a superb performance from pitcher Ugbug Mandragger. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Dol Guldur. The Dragons won the game, 3-2. Mandragger threw 8 innings of 5-hit ball. Weathertop has now lost 5 straight.
The Dragons relied on right fielder Omdush Daggerkicker for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring triple to seal the deal.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Daggerkicker told the Dol Guldur Gazette.
