Thrubgunk Toora was sizzling at the plate today. The Bywater center fielder blistered the Erebor Eagles for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but couldn't prevent his club from falling to a 8-7 defeat.

"Toora was too tough to get out today," Eagles skipper Lumja Grelf said in a postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win."

Thrubgunk Toora singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Anilkumar Fassbinder in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

Presently Toora is batting .249 with 93 hits and 6 home runs. He has knocked in 28 runs and scored 54 times.
