Dol Guldur overcame a superlative game from Bluzhkrut Humancrawler to beat Weathertop, 2-1. The Weathertop pitcher threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball. Nick Pelham converted his 24th save in 26 tries. Dol Guldur goes to 35-38, Weathertop to 25-49.

The Witch Kings had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Dragons going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 32-year old center fielder Carl Took came to the plate. Took hit a run-scoring double on a full count cutter from Weathertop hurler Bluzhkrut Humancrawler. It was Took's 17th double of the year.

"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Took.
